JPI History

JPI Warehousing (Southampton) Limited was originally started by John Ings over 30 years ago. It began as a transport service only but in 1999 moved in to the 1st of its warehouses and grew progressively since with storage contracts with Morrisons Supermarkets & Boeing to name a few.

On the 1st August 2014 JPI Warehousing (Southampton) Limited was purchased in its entirety by 21st Century Global Logistics Limited a company that also owns Riva South Limited www.rivasouth.com who operate out of Southampton.

JPI currently operate in warehousing totalling 120,000 square feet for internal storage and a further 70,000 square foot of yard for external storage and parking. In January 2017 JPI will open its new additional warehouse totalling 95,532 square feet internally and a 157,000 square feet yard.

JPI operates an ETSF facility with dedicated warehouse space used for holding imported uncleared cargo and we are linked to HM Customs for this operation. This department can trace all cargo from the point of loading to the time and date of delivery into the UK.

We also load and export goods from the United Kingdom to mainly EEC countries and the Far East.

JPI has several contracts requiring a pick & pack facility so as you can see from all of the above we are truely a one stop shop for any of your logistic requirements.

JPI offer an all round professional service with experienced personnel in all departments and are always looking for more business in order to expand or diversify and hopefully benefit our customers by controlling costs and maximise efficiencies.
